Todd Road Jail, Ventura County, California.


Elmwood is bad, but so is Todd Road. These deputies goad and prod until you
are ganged upon and beaten. They tell you that you guilty even when you
haven't been to trial. The food is not enough. My son was at 191 pounds when
he went in and now is at 152, the doctor told him that he is not at a level
where he should worry, what? Does he have to be skin and bones before they
do something about this? The medical care is limited, if any at all.

You are not allowed to complain or dispute and accusation by a deputy
because this gets you in worse trouble, there is not free speech at Todd
Road.

If your arm falls out of its socket from too many behind the back cuffing
and you ring the bell for help, you get a "don't ring the bell" and the
window slammed, then you are stuck trying to manipulate you arm by yourself
to put it back in place. Then you don't get to see a doctor for days later
and he sends you away with aspirin, no ex-ray no sling to rest the muscle.

My son had just spent 152 days in ISO for frivolous accusations by the
deputies. When was out of ISO on October 9th, a deputy told him that he
would be back in within a week and guess what, he is. They gave him 72 days
in ISO for yelling and complaining that another inmate who is receiving all
sorts of perks to harass him, took his mail. When the guards would do
nothing my son started yelling, this is when the guards came in, cuffed him
and kicked and beat him.

This goes on and on, it will never stop. He is their recreation and whipping
boy.
